Brazil's economy shrinking for the third quarter in a row

Brazil's economy, which suffers from high unemployment and weak public finances, witnessed a contraction for the third consecutive quarter, registering a ratio of one interval of seven percent in the three months ending in September of last September compared with the second quarter of the same year.

Negative contraction is the first performance of its kind since the mid-nineties of the last century, according to official data revealed by this Tuesday.

Brazil's economy, shrank by four break five percent during the third quarter of this year compared to the same period of 2014.
